People Leadership Summit 2024
People Leadership Summit is Workday’s annual event for new managers. This year’s event took place at the San Jose Convention Center, and had 700 attendees.
Mara, thank you for your incredible work on PLS! Your creativity and leadership in building our first-ever brand identity took everything to the next level. The prep doc you created was so thoughtfulthat even the signage vendor wished all clients would send one like it. Everything ran smoothly onsite — no reprints needed — thanks to your attention to detail. And through it all, you were kind, flexible, and a joy to work with. The event’s energy truly came through in your designs.

Look
and Feel
Historically, the event has used general Workday branding, but when I took over as the designer this year, I decided to give the event its own branding. With a focus on our core values, as well as learning courses, where you earn badges, I created a look and feel that both positions our values as “badges,” while also highlighting people leaders, and reflecting the general excitement of the event.
