Hey!
I’m Mara: an art director, creative strategist, experiential designer, and illustrator.
I love creativity, processes, big design budgets, and dry humor.
I was born and raised outside of Boston, moved to Michigan for school (go Blue!), and spent 5 years in the Bay Area. I’m now living out my dream in Brooklyn, NY (as an Art Director at Workday).
I’m a hobbyist and I come from a family of artists, so I’m always looking for different ways to be creative outside of work. My current obsessions are pottery and decorating my apartment one FB Marketplace find at a time. During lockdown my best friend and I started a business designing, producing, and selling custom hats. And when I need a break from design, you can find me hosting dinner parties, fostering dogs and watching sitcoms about school, work, and camp.
