I’m Mara: a creative strategist, event designer, graphic designer, and illustrator.

I love creativity, processes, large design budgets, and dry humor.

I was born and raised outside of Boston, moved to Michigan for school (Go Blue!), and spent 5 years in the Bay Area. I’m now living out my dream in Brooklyn, NY (as an Art Director at Workday).

I’m a hobbyist and I come from a family of artists, so I’m always looking for different ways to be creative outside of work. My current obsessions are pottery and scouring FB Marketplace for the best home decor finds. During lockdown my best friend and I started a business designing, producing, and selling custom hats. And when I need a break from design, you can find me hosting dinner parties, fostering dogs and watch sitcoms about school, work, and camp.
